When looking for a wedding photographer, I wanted someone professional who could capture images that felt bright and light while keeping the natural color gradient. When I found Courtney, not only was she professional, honest, and realistic, but she was also so dang fun. When I got Courtney, I didn't just get a photographer, I got a friend. I told her upfront that I value authenticity and have a hard time with posed photos. She helped ensure the posed photos ~were~ authentic, keeping my goals at the forefront of every shot. Courtney saying, "Girl, this is your day," got me through many hours of 95 degree Louisiana summer photos. Her humor and honesty kept me present where my feet were, and her constant hype talk kept me laughing amidst the craziness of the day.
After the wedding, I got select photos as a "sneak peak" with the promise of getting all of them within a certain amount of time. However, shortly after, I found out my grandmother was dying of cancer. I reached out to Courtney, knowing my grandmother didn't have much time left, asking if she could get photos with her in it early so I could show her while she was still here. Courtney got back to me the same day, giving me all these photos at 10pm. I was able to immediately take these to my grandmother's bed, swiping through the family photos, the processional pics, and the moments during the ceremony with her. My grandmother had tears in her eyes as we talked about those fun memories with each other. I owe that moment to Courtney.
I can't recommend Courtney enough. She gave me support, memories to last a lifetime, commitment to my goals, her own fan when I was overheating during the day, and a friendship. Court, I can't thank you enough.
